AYDAMN,  You Are A Badass!

Here’s the deal: Jen Sincero’s book, You Are A Badass continues to enlighten, inspire and motivate me daily. It allows me to recognize and appreciate all the good people and things in my life. If Jen’s writing doesn’t inspire and motivate you perhaps you should check your pulse. If you don’t have a copy, do yourself a favor. Go get one. No, really, GO GET ONE NOW!!

The book has shown me the joy of recognizing and appreciating badassedness in others. Today I salute Aydamn as Badass of The Week.

Hailing from St. Louis, Aydamn now calls Nashville home. He recently wrapped 62 dates with Dierks Bentley’s Burning Man tour and is now DJ in residence at some of Nashville’s hottest clubs and parties. I met him at Big Machine Label Group’s CMA After Party last month and was instantly sure he was a badass. Dude is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu (who knew?), Mui Thai kickboxer (whatever that is) and a certified yoga instructor (okay, I get it) and he’s been voted Nashville’s Number One DJ for five years in a row.

Impressive, yes. But here’s the real thing: he’s a super nice guy and he treats people with respect and appreciation. And he took my request to play California Love! That alone proves you are a badass but today, for all you are I salute you, Aydamn! You are a Badass!

From Jen’s Book:

This shit isn’t for sissies.

Love yourself and the bluebirds of happiness will be your permanent backup singers.

Love yourself more than you love the drama.

There is absolutely no one else exactly like you.

The only failure is quitting. Everything else is gathering information.

The Universe will match whatever vibration you put out. And you can’t fool the Universe.

Create the life you desire like your life depends on it. Because guess what? Your life DOES depend on it.

It’s just as easy to believe we’re awesome as it is to believe we are giant sucking things.

You are loved. Massively. Ferociously. Unconditionally.

Most answers reveal themselves through doing not thinking.

Expect and enjoy the unexpected.

Be grateful for all you are and for all you are becoming.

Surround yourself with people who think the way you want to think.

You are responsible for what you say and do. You are NOT responsible for whether or not people freak out about it.
