It’s really simple. Gratitude- be grateful for all you have and all that is coming to you. I know, I know, some of you are saying, “Gratitude, schmatitude,” but as we say down south ‘you’re as wrong as a football bat’.

Attitude

Having a grateful outlook or attitude is essential if you want to get ahead.  Realizing that the Universe is always looking out for you is the secret sauce.  The attitude of gratitude is yours for the taking, too. It’s all a matter of perspective.

Gratitude

Perspective.  For nearly all my life, whenever I have been around someone with a dog (or when I have had dogs for pets) and the dog starts barking, the person (or I) would always implore the dog to stop barking.  Sometimes to the point where it escalated to unhappiness or even anger.

It should go without saying, I love it when my daughter and her boyfriend visit along with their dog, Sparrow. Sparrow rarely ever barks but when he does instead of being annoyed or angry my daughter thanks him for protecting us.

She what? Yep, she thanks Sparrow for protecting us and soon enough he calms down.

What a concept: gratitude wins the day.

Schmatitude

Yep, that’s it. Perspective.  I choose to be grateful and my sincere hope is that you will choose that path, too.

Stay safe. Stay home. Press pause on the panic.
