The Connector Intro 1

Top Ten Tips! I like the sound of that, don’t you? Sweet!

Awhile ago, I shared five of my Top Ten Tips for emerging artists and songwriters. The remaining five are here for you now.

Top Ten Tips

These are ideas and techniques I have learned in my music and entertainment career and want to share. I use these tips all the time and I hope they will bring value to you, as well.

Here is a recap of the first five tips:

SEE AND BE SEEN.

THE ART OF FOLLOW UP.

STAY IN TOUCH.

DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.

EDIT. CONDENSE. REPEAT.

So, if you are an emerging artist, let’s get to it!

Six

GIVE BACK. Identify and connect with a charity in which you strongly believe. Partner with them to promote their cause and guess what?  They become your street team and help promote you.  Can you say “Win/Win”?

Seven

MASTERMIND GROUP. Find people to model and create your own mastermind group. These are people who have had success and from whom you could benefit.  More often than not the most successful people you know are also the most willing to help. Ask!

Eight

KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU YOU.  As Jen Sincero says in her book, You’re A Badass, there is only one you.  Identify your unique abilities and focus on sharing them with the world.

Nine

ACT AS IF. Live in your success even before it arrives.  Carry yourself with that extra bit of swagger so that everyone will recognize that you are someone special.

Ten

BE GRATEFUL. This should actually be Tip Number One.  Be grateful for what you have and more importantly for what you’re going to be, do and have even before it arrives.

Ta Da!

So these are the last five of my Top Ten Tips.     Please remember that these are bullet point ideas. I share more of these ideas in depth with my clients.
